Gang Resistance Education and Training
Sergeant Chris Hall and Sheriff Lippa upon completion of GREAT training. Sheriff Lippa is the first Sheriff in Caroline to bring Gang specific education to Caroline's Middle School and High School.
Caroline County S.O. receives Accreditation
Board of Supervisor Wayne Acors helps welcome in a new era for the Caroline County Sheriff's Office. Under Lippa's leadership, the Caroline County Sheriff's Office was recommended for accreditation by a team of reviewers who report to the VLEPSC Board of Directors. The VLEPSC board remarked that Caroline County had “one of the best” initial accreditation surveys they had ever conducted.

Bringing the CCSO into Modern Policing
Under the leadership of Sheriff Lippa, CCSO supported its first FBI National Academy graduate, trained/acquired first human tracking canine, and obtained its first Investigator dedicated to only sexual and domestic abuse victims.

No Sheriff in the history of the Caroline County Sheriff's Office has taken a harder stand against illegal drugs. Whether it's through educational efforts like DARE, undercover narcotics investigations, specialized training, or regional Task Force initiatives - you can be sure that Sheriff Lippa will continue his four decade fight against illegal drugs.
Better Law Enforcement for Less Cost
A recent study revealed Caroline County as one of the lowest cost law enforcement agencies for its citizens. Plus no Sheriff in the history of this agency has brought in more state and federal grants. Sheriff Lippa has received in excess of $1.6 million in grant money to purchase new patrol cars, modern firearms, in-car camera systems, bullet proof vests, equipment, and to pay personnel. That means better law enforcement without increasing taxes.
Caroline's first ever Citizen's Police Academy
Caroline's first ever Citizen's Police Academy was started under Lippa's leadership in 2009, bringing much praise from regional partners.
